A galette is perfect for using up “not perfect” ingredients because, well… it’s meant to not be perfect. It’s rustic. It’s messy. It’s easy peasy and one of the bestest things. And somehow it is like seriously impressive. The apples were dry and sad, the bag of pie scraps really needed to be eaten, but hey a beautiful dessert was born. 💃 Pie crust was still flaky and crispy which… considering the whole being frozen in scraps and put back together thing, that’s a major compliment to my pie crust recipe/method. Remember everything doesn’t have to be absotootly perfect in order to make something stunning. Embrace what you have. ❤️

Ingredients

1 Pie Crust, rolled out (either homemade, pie scraps, or bought!)
2 lbs apples, thinly sliced (any kind, new, old, whatever you have!)
1 tbsp heavy cream
