I’ve made my fair share of lasagnas ranging from traditional Italian lasagnas, to fast food lasagnas and everything in between. HOwever, I never made a medataraian version by ways of Pastitsio. When researching this recipe I knew that I was going to love it and it was going to be an instant classic because all the ingredients scream comfort food and I love Greek inspired dishes as a whole. This recipe takes the idea you have about lasagna and injects even more flavour and texture from the copious amount of bechamel and the savory spices added to both sauces!
