When I think about cheesesteaks I think about so many different things. Some people eat them with provolone, some eat them with cheese wiz, some eat them with any sort of cheese and any sort of steak. I wanted to make a macaroni casserole that embodied all of the above, and the results came out incredible. In this recipe you get a great cheese wiz, and an incredible steak marinate. You also get a foolproof way to make fried crispy onions!

1 medium diced onion
