Best French Toast
French Toast is so delicious and often enjoyed as breakfast and brunch. Actually French Toast is not French food. Its origin is in Ancient Rome where people dip bread into milk and egg mixture to create a dish called Pan Dulcis. The name "French Toast" is named after a man called Joseph French who coined the term in 1724. The special about this recipe is to dry the bread and coat the bread with panko; it gives perfect French Toast with crispy exterior and soft interior. For the bread, white sandwich bread, brioche, challah, whole-wheat, french bread all work. Thicker bread (~1") is preferred.
