Teriyaki sauce is very easy to make. This teriyaki sauce is SO MUCH BETTER! This is a vegetarian, gluten-free, AND vegan sauce that uses simple ingredients. One of those ingredients though, is from Celeste Oliva of Concord, NH. With their peach-balsamic vinegar, this brings a whole new level of flavor to a teriyaki sauce that just makes your dish sing! It also offers a nice palate-cleanser effect so you can enjoy the other flavors in your dish. This was a sauce I created to use with some of our Asian cravings. And, it is a sauce on my permanent rotation list! Please note that this is a large-batch recipe. You can easily halve the amount for a smaller batch.
Ingredients
16 oz Pineapple juice, fresh (1/4 C reserved*)
8 oz Tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
0.25 cup Ginger, finely chopped
