Faiza's Garam Masala
Garam Masala Powder is one of the most essential spice blends in Pakistani and Indian cooking. This aromatic mix of whole spices adds warmth, depth, and richness to curries, biryanis, pulao, and daals. Faiza bhabi swears by this particular recipe — and no, that’s not what gives it its name! It just so happens that the original recipe’s author shares the same name. I’ve included the recipe below with slightly adjusted quantities — the ratios remain exactly the same. In fact, when I made it, I used only half of what’s listed here, which yielded about two jars like the one pictured. For the original recipe: https://youtu.be/H7mDXGlgoSw?si=K3cBPt5SImHGzBpH
