gulab-jamoon

Please excuse the look of these guys...it was our first time making them...and we were trying to replicate Nanu's nostalgic ovoid shape! I remember I tried making these for Mummy and Daddy the first time they came to visit me in London. I worked so hard and so late at night, but I ruined them completely. Faisal even tried to help me salvage them, but to no avail. Due to the trauma, I didn't even try making gulab jamoon for another 15 years - until 2023! I know they don't look great but they were so good! Kids loved them so I guess we'll have to make them again. :)
