Welcome back to my Fusion Food Series where I combine delicious dishes across cultures. This isn't your average burger, it's something far, far greater. Introducing the Burger Au Poivre combining the best of French and American cuisine. The rich, peppery sauce is the perfect companion to beef whether in the form of a burger patty or luxurious steak. Other accompaniments: -tarragon pickles (for acid, and wayyy better than their dill counterpart) -red wine caramelized onions (for added richness and sweetness) -shoestring fries (to create a textural wonderland) -a simple dijonnaise (every burger needs its sauce, we didn't need to go crazy here) -chives (I needed something green on there LOL, but they also did help bring some extra oniony flavor). Long story short: this was the best burger I've ever had.
