brisket-gau-gee
Gau gee or crispy wontons is another staple dish in the local Hawaii culture created by cultural blending. While you’d usually use pork and shrimp for the meat filing, I wanted to blend my passion for bbq and my local culture so I used smoked grounded brisket. This helped create a rich and flavorful bite topped with my house miso sauce.
