Pumpkin Sticky Buns
Everyone loves cinnamon rolls. Everyone enjoys sticky buns. Almost everyone in America loves pumpkin. So, what about combining all of these joys together? To kick off the pumpkin season, I decided to embark on a mission to create pumpkin sticky buns. And let me tell you, it's addictively delicious. The orange dough, subtly flavored, is rolled thinly and filled with softened butter, pecans, brown sugar, and spices. After being rolled tightly and cut into rolls, each of them sits atop a caramel sauce with, as you guessed it, more pecans. Once baked and flipped upside down, the caramel sauce melts on top of the rolls, creating a beautiful glaze. This is a fantastic project to enjoy with family (and kids) on autumn weekends!
