Squid luau is a traditional Hawaiian dish using luau leaves. Even though it says squid, the recipes actually use octopus. I used a technique I saw @alfrugoni use with his chimichurri which he took a hot burning ember and put it in his chimichurri for 10 minutes. I wanted to take this bbq technique with this traditional comfort food dish.
