Matzo Ball Soup
I grew up eating decent Jewish style food. My mom's cooking was adored by a lot of people and I can attest for most of it, it was delicious. However, I never quite got the warm fuzzies from her Matzo ball soup as others did with their experiences. When I finally made it on my own, I did so many different things. I added cooked chicken, egg noodles and infused my own balls. In this recipe I take the path of least resistance by using chicken broth, but for the balls, I didn't skimp. I infused my balls with dill because I think it lends itself great to a soup like this, and I also made them huge! If you are willing to go beyond your mom, or grandmother's recipe, or if you’ve always been curious about what Matzo ball soup is and how it tastes, this is a great entry level recipe!
