This chilli oil recipe creates a vibrant red with a nutty, spicy/hot heat flavour. It's simple to prepare and yields extra for future use. The level of spiciness can be adjusted according to your preference. In my recipe, I used a blend of 80% long chillies (mild) and 20% mini chillies (spicier), but you can customise the blend and heat level to suit your taste.
