pakistani-omelette
This is the omelette I grew up eating — I had no clue it was a 'Pakistani' style! We'd have it with toast, paratha, or croissants, usually accompanied by jam or, my personal favourite, condensed milk! We’d also enjoy it for brunch or dinner, paired with khicheri or desi fried rice. In recent years, I’ve discovered how versatile it truly is — it also tastes great with daal, cheese, crunchy toast, or even wrapped in a tortilla. Nanu’s original version calls for lots of diced onion, which I love, though I’ve shared a slightly more balanced quantity here. Just like with the other ingredients, the quantities here are very flexible — adjust them to your liking.
Ingredients
0.5 medium onion, diced (Nanu likes even more)
0.25 tsp chili powder
0.125 tsp turmeric?
