
Carrot Cake
Le fameux, le seule et l'unique. J'ai nommé THE Carrot Cake. Alors pour ceux qui n'ont jamais gouté et qui ça pourrait étonner voire décourager : Tu ne peux pas savoir tant que tu n'as pas gouté ! Dans un Carrot Cake classique, en temps normal, on y met de l'huile végétale, mais moi je trouve que ça donne un goût désagréable. J'ai préféré donc remplacer l'huile par du beurre fondu et le résultat est vraiment top. Alors pour la petite histoire, le gâteau aux carottes était assez populaire back in the days, notamment au Moyen Âge ! Le sucre et les adoucissants étant trop chers, ils utilisaient des carottes pour les remplacer dans leurs gâteaux. Même Louis XVI mangeait des petites parts de Carrot Cake dans son château !
