In-N-Outs viral flying Dutchman burger is 2 grilled onion slices used as buns... The only problem is the onions fall apart after your first bite and it's incredibly messy to eat. My version uses onion ring-style onion buns instead of grilled onions. The fried batter holds the onion together, making it less messy and tastes much better.
