This is one of my favorite cookies! Even though I am a savory person, I can never say no to this cookie. The best way to enjoy it is with coffee while it is still warm, crispy on the outside but still soft and slightly doughy on the inside. By the way, I would like to make a note for my international followers who have never tried American cookies before—it may sound interesting to bake these big cookies in such a short time, or they may seem underbaked, but we never bake this cookie until fully set. This will lead to the most delicious textures and ensure the cookie is not dry. Try it, you will love it.
