A classic cookie recipe from " Selections From Betty Crocker's Cookbook," 7th Edition, Published Bantam Books, 1994. Notes: Cream the butter and sugar before adding the egg. Chop up 1/2 of the chocolate chips before stirring them into the dough. Toast your nuts if you can. Freeze leftover cookie dough balls and bake from frozen. Add about 3-5 minutes to the baking time.
