Simply....sublime! Since this is typically a "punjabi" dish, Mummy didn't start cooking this until I was a bit older. And she actually used to call it "punjabi Palao!" Good thing she enjoyed experimenting with new recipes because I fell in love with this. Of course, then I got married into a Punjabi family and got to enjoy Mumma's pulao on a regular basis - which is equally delicious. 1 cup oil (20% less)
3 big handfuls onions, sliced
