sweet-and-spicy-pork-chimichanga

The sauce in this pork is going to be the star. Morita peppers are similar to chipotles because they are also smoked, but I think the Morita pepper is spicier. The recipe is for a spicy sauce with a sweet hint; if you can't handle spicy, add fewer peppers to the sauce; I'd say 5-8 peppers for mild. The flavor would be like a spicy bbq sauce. You can get these peppers at an international or Latin/Mexican store. You can easily substitute dried chipotle peppers, but remember that every chipotle counts as three Morita peppers.

Ingredients
