Hummus
This is an absolute favorite of mine that I enjoy making at home. Whether a snack or part of a meal or even a meatless option, you just cant deny the hearty flavor of hummus! A favorite blend would be a spicy pepper for me while my daughter loves a hummus filled with shredded vegetables for a more complete meal to a slice of toasted bagel. There is more work involved with using your own soaked chickpeas but for those who purchase organic in-a-can, it will still work. And, yes - you can make this without the tahini if you are not a fan of it - the flavor is not for everyone so make it the way you like! This will make about 6-8 servings.
