waray-and-wimbits

waray-and-wimbits

This is one of those delicious things I grew up eating in Ramadan. They're actually a South Indian specialty - gotta stay true to your roots! In fact, South Indians generally serve Waray in donut shapes. Nanu found this hard to replicate, so she would make these little balls instead. They reminded me of Timbits - the hole inside of a donut. (If you're Canadian, you know what I'm talking about). Hence I made up the name Wimbits. :) Eventually, I'll figure out all the remaining measurements, as well as the yield. I appreciate your patience in the meantime!
