empanadas
In 2017 I lived in Canary Island for about a year. I discovered the Empanadas and it was a proper addiction. Tuna empanadas or as the Spanish like to call them “Empanadas de Atún”, are an ancient recipe originally from Galicia (Spain) and Portugal. They first appeared in Medieval Iberia during the time of the Moorish invasions. A cookbook published in Catalan in 1520 mentions empanadas filled with seafood. Ok, keep reading to learn together how to make these beautiful tasty-filled pastries. Today I made the most classic version with onions and tuna. If you like my recipe please drop a comment below!
