Turmeric Brown Sugar Wings
These wings are for my turmeric fanatics: they're pleasantly earthy & have that undeniably peppery bite. However, when paired with brown sugar, those bitter tones are softened & the result is a perfect balance, in my humble opinion. You still get that distinct turmeric flavor but it's mellowed out. It makes for a dangerous combo on these wings which are borderline addictive. Once air fried to golden brown perfection, they're paired with a bright & earthy tahini sauce. Just a few pantry staples: tahini, agave, fresh lemon juice, a bit of salt & turmeric––of course. I preferred it on the earthier side but this sauce is easily adjustable by adding more agave, lemon juice or salt to your preference. The texture is out of this world. It's so dang silky––ice cold water is KEY here. It's a sauce recipe you'll want to keep in your back pocket.
