potato-latka-waffles
If you’ve never had latkes before you're definitely missing out. This recipe makes regular latkes, but I then cooked them in a waffle maker. Traditionally, latkes are made on a stove top in some light cooking oil. That, on its own, is great, however, that on a waffle maker, is a game changer. Latkes are basically Jewish hash browns so if you love those you'll love these. I decided to make this one a little lavish by adding not only smoked salmon, but also some caviar. Feel free to op out of those additions if you don’t like that sort of thing. However, sour cream is traditionally eaten with latkes, and this variation is super delicious.
