Super easy to assemble, but a few optional steps can make a big difference! DRY your sprouts! In order to make xtra crispy sprouts, they need to be as dry as possible. If you wash your sprouts, either do it well in advance so there is time to air dry / use salad spinner / pat dry. Brussels sprouts need to be fully coated with oil before roasting, especially the inner-side. Using a mixing bowl helps with even coating. Big time! Flip the Brussels sprouts open-side up when roasting. When the sprouts are split in half, all the layers are exposed, and when they are upwards, the individual layers will be exposed to the hot oven air, and will dehydrate/crisp. If they are facing down towards the roasting pan, they will not get as crispy, and can steam. CONVECTION bake if you have it! Air Frying is a fancy word for convection cooking - cooking with hot circulating air. This will make for a crispier sprout ππΌ itβs better to underdress than overdress sprouts. Start with a little bit of dressing, mix well and coat sprouts. Taste and add more dressing if needed
