capirotada-tiramisu

capirotada-tiramisu

Capirotada is the Mexican Lent season dessert, and this fusion with tiramisu is delicious and creamy. Don't be scared about the onion; this gives the savory flavor and cuts down the sweetness, remember, the onion turns sweet after cooking. If you can’t find the ladyfingers, you could use butter-toasted bread, like the traditional capirotada. You can substitute the piloncillo if you can find it for molasses or brown sugar. This can be eaten warm or chilled in the fridge. And if you are Mexican or have made capirotada before, this can also be eyeballing, like when you add more or less of your favorite ingredients.

Ingredients

8 of piloncillo
12 oz of whipped cream cheese spread
