Sundevicheh Salad Olivieh
This is egg salad’s sexier cousin that is just better at life all around. It goes by the name salad oliveh. It came from Russia (salat olivier) to Iran, now I’m bringing it to you guys. It’s basically egg salad but with peas, potatoes, and chicken added to it. It’s heartier, and yummier. The peas adds a pop of sweetness that is essential so DO NOT skip it. Salad olivieh is usually served as a starter when hosting guests with pita or lavash bread on the side, but it can also be turned into the ultimate sandwich for lunch. I did my sandwich with some sliced tomatoes, red onion, and tarragon on some crusty baguette. It was amazing.
