Spicy Pepperoni Pan Pizza
This pizza might seem basic in concept, but its complex in flavor, and heat. The sauce is easy, and delicious, and if you're going the spicy route, nicely spicy. I use calabrian chili peppers for the heat, its one of those condiments that I put on everything for not only added heat, but added flavor too. This is my classic pizza dough made in a Detroit style pizza pan, but if you don't have one, you can easily use a regular sheet tray. I also use monterey jack cheese for this one for its added flavor and stringiness! If you get the chance to ask your meat counter at the grocery store for fresh sliced pepperoni, go for it! The pepperoni will be larger, adn thinner, and in my experience, better. Regardless where you get the ingredients, if you like spicy, and you like pizza, try this recipe today!
