This is a custard based ice cream resulting in a rich and decadent dessert. I use this as a starting point to make various flavors of ice cream. It just takes a little thought and maybe a change to the process to get different flavors. The picture is cinnamon ice cream with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon added with the vanilla.
