Smash Burger
I don't know about you, but when I eat a burger, it's a celebration! I chop the meat for the patties, use my own pickles, and, of course, make the buns myself. I believe burger patties need nothing but salt and pepper—no crazy mixes or insane toppings. If the meat is amazing, nothing else needs to be added. Each patty gets topped with a different cheese: one with smoked gouda and one with cheddar, adding another layer of flavor. I also add thinly sliced white onion, so when grilling, they soften a bit but stay firm and sharp in spiciness. Next time you have a burger night with your pals, make these buns. You'll be the center of the party. YESSS!
