For one our friends' birthday party we really wanted to try something we've seen pop up on our Instagram a lot - the Baklavah cheesecake. This dense and rich cake is not for the faint-hearted, and is definitely recommended for when you have a (hungry) crowd. It combines Baklavah with a cheesecake. What better combination. The beautiful colours of the pistachio and roses make this both a treat for the eyes and the tastebuds! It would be helpful to note that while this takes 90 minutes to cook, it requires cooling overnight.
