Sometimes I make a recipe that even shocks me… this was one of those. I envisioned this recipe as a starter for your Easter Dinner, but it would be totally perfect at the main table as well. This Caramlized Onion and Mushroom Goat Cheese Tart starts off with my all butter pie crust that I turn into a rough puff (I’ll give details in the recipe online!) The sauce is goat cheese with plain yog. And we top it with some caramelized onions turned balsamic reduction onions and some pan fried portobello mushrooms. You absolutely need to make this for your Easter Dinner or literally just any day you want a flavor explosion in your mouth.

Ingredients

1 sheet of puff pastry If you use THE Flaky Pie Crust follow the directions for rough puff and use the entire double batch.
2 medium yellow onions, peeled and thinly sliced
0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
