This delicious meal was first shared with us at a time when we were deeply in need of comfort, joy, and rest. What made it even more beautiful is that it arrived as a gift from a friend — a kind and caring gesture. And perhaps the best part? Fareda so generously shared her recipe with us so we could enjoy it again and again. And that’s exactly what we’re doing now. It wasn’t easy to stray from our usual lasagne recipe—there was some serious opposition—but I stood my ground and tried it anyway. And it looks like we have a win! In fact, some in our household have even said this version is better than our usual dish… controversial! I’m thinking that next time, I might just blend both recipes together for the perfect compromise. Stay tuned! 🙂
