I love a good tuna salad but i cannot bring myself to eat it at restaurants because they usually have too much mayonnaise, my recipe is creamy and delicious without the excess fat. This tuna salad recipe will lightened up your day, it is one of my favorite lunchtime meals that makes me full and satiated. I make it healthy by replacing some of the mayo with avocado and chickpeas and loading it up with crunchy celery, onion and bell peppers. You can serve it on it's own, on top of greens, or in a sandwich. It is a delicious tuna salad that is still healthier. For the tuna, i like to use Portugues or Cape Verdean tuna. These two are the best tunas, but you are welcome to use whatever tuna you like and prefer.
