Cheese Italian Sausage Lasagna
This cheesy lasagna recipe is a classic Italian dish that is sure to please everyone at the table. It is made with a flavorful sausage and tomato sauce, bechamel sauce, and a generous amount of cheese. The lasagna is baked until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and it is served hot and fresh. Tips: For a richer flavor, use whole milk for the bechamel sauce. If you don't have fresh basil, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil. You can use any type of cheese you like for the top of the lasagna. I like to use a combination of mozzarella, Parmesan, and Smoked Gouda. Lasagna is best served hot and fresh. However, you can also store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months. When you are ready to eat, thaw the lasagna overnight in the refrigerator and then bake it according to the instructions.
