Homemade eggnog is truly a magical thing. I have made it a few times before, but wanted to switch it up a little bit. The great thing about this variation is that, if you already have the spices, it is so easy. It might just take a few extra minutes. This one will be pretty thin, but if you would like a thicker eggnog, add another egg or heat until you can feel it thicken. Make sure to also let it completely chill before serving. Eggnog is something best made the night before serving. For the whipped cream, i did it by hand, but that was just an ego thing. Go ahead and use your kitchenaid or whatever you've got.
