Honey Harissa Chicken Bowl
I love a bowl because it’s got all that variety I want, plus they’re perfect for meal prep. The star of the show here is the harissa honey chicken. It’s sweet and spicy with harissa, honey, lemon juice and lots of spices. We’re talking paprika, coriander, cumin, cardamom, and oregano. Just the color of the marinade alone is screaming flavor party. I love a hands off cooking method, so we’re roasting them in the oven along with some broccoli that I seasoned up with za’atar. With 30 minutes to spare I’m whipping up a quick slaw for delicious crunch. The sesame ginger dressing is creamy from the tahini and zingy from rice vinegar. By now you probably know that I’m a big slaw guy, we’ve made a lot of them here and this one just might be my favorite one yet. The chicken is ready just in time, I like to slice it up and throw it over some rice with our banger of a slaw and za’atar broccoli
