This is adapted from Mumma's chicken curry. Mumma's original uses fresh tomatoes instead of crushed, and does not use coconut or kasuri methi. These slight changes do make two very different curries. Mumma's version is lighter and fresher, less saucy. While the other is more rich, has more gravy, and obviously has a different flavour. The photo here pictures the latter, using crushed tomatoes and kasuri methi but without coconut.
