Trofie Pasta with Beetroot and Pecorino Sauce
This beetroot and pecorino sauce is a simple but colourful sauce great for your family. I had used trofie because I had them in the freezer but this sauce is suitable for every type of pasta. I deeply love the colour and the sweet flavour profile of this sauce. Your children will have so much fun making it with you. Helping to cut out the vegetables and season them. This recipe is easy to make and doesn’t require too many steps of ingredients. No worries about a messy kitchen if your children help you out! Actually, ask them to be involved and help you clean while you are cooking too. Furthermore, let me talk about the magic benefits of beetroots. They are loaded with vitamins A, B, C & E. Vitamin C is fundamental in this particular season where mornings and evening is quite cold still and in the afternoon feels like a pool party isn’t it? They are also a storehouse for minerals such as iron and magnesium. They prevent several diseases that are common among kids such as tummy troubles. And the colour??
