The Thanksgiving Turkey
You know I'm happy with a recipe when I coin it "THE" recipe. I'm not kidding here. This is THE Turkey recipe you need. It's simple, easy to follow, AND I structured the temperature so that you have a steady 325F and can cook/reheat your other sides at the same time. Cuz idk about you, but there certainly isn't just turkey in my oven on Thanksgiving day, m'kay? It comes out with a deeply golden skin, a hefty sheet pan of juices for stock, and moist n' tender skin. The only thing that makes this turkey better is THE Gravy to go with it. I'll create a separate recipe that links them both :) COOKING TIME: As a general rule you can expect to cook for 15 minutes for every pound of meat. Butttt we're cooking at a higher temp to start so just keep that in mind.
