Using the waffle maker to make obscure waffle flavors comes natural to me. In my early years as a food person, I used to just see what would waffle and what wouldn’t (spoilers, almost everything turns into a waffle). For this version, it was a no brainer. Using the idea of what chicken and waffles is, and what buffalo wings are, I knew that this recipe would work. The crispy layer of deep fried batter surrounding the soft waffle grilled chicken is great on its own, but when introducing a delicious buffalo sauce and blue cheese sauce, the flavor experience is elevated! In this recipe you get the innovative way to make chicken, but you also get a staple blue cheese sauce and buffalo sauce recipe that you can apply and use with many other dishes.

Ingredients

1 pound of ground chicken
4 cups of canola oil (cooking oil)
1.5 cups of all purpose flour
