Spent the day at a tomato farm in the Lee Valley with Co-Op , where they’re growing some of the best tomatoes I’ve tasted - right here in the UK. From sweet Piccolos to juicy Sugardrops, everything’s picked for Co-op’s Irresistible range at peak ripeness and hits shelves fast, fresh and full of flavour. I asked the grower a few questions (like how they get them this sweet), then headed home to make one of my all-time favourites: a simple Panzanella, pan con tomate toast, that lets the tomatoes do all the talking.
