Tatemada means charred, and molcajeteada means it was crushed in the molcajete, so to make a salsa molcajeteada you can roast, broil, steam, or fry your peppers and vegetables as long as it's crushed in the molcajete, and to make a salsa tatemada can even be blended as long as the peppers and vegetables are charred.
