Here with another one of my childhood staples, Lu Rou Fan (Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice), it was a favorite alongside dishes like the infamous Tomato Egg. I had many fond memories of my mom taking me to this one Taiwanese restaurant in NYC (which is no longer around, RIP), and every time we'd go she would order me their Lu Rou Fan. I just had a thing for saucy rice bowls ๐๐๐
Ingredients
1 tbsp neutral oil (12g)
1 shallot, minced (25g)
1.5 lbs of pork belly, parboiled and sliced (675g)
