jjajangmyeon-made-vegan
Jjajangmyeon is a Korean-Chinese noodle dish made with black bean sauce. It is predominantly sweet and savoury, and typically has pork as a main source of protein but for this vegan version I replaced it with chopped toasted pecans and lentils which worked really well. One of my cousins tried this while visiting and he said he is surprised at how much he enjoying it without the meat in it. The pecans and lentils not only offer a great source of plant protein but offer excellent texture to the sauce as well. Are you ready to try making this yourself?
