I have always obsessed over cheesesteaks, yet, I have never had a legit one from the Northeast. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. It's so simple, but which makes the little things more important. And I think I nailed it, but will possibly update the recipe down the road if I make improvements. Homemade bread takes this to the next level. And if you can get your hands on Cooper's American Cheese, you're at legend status. But if not accessible, try to find a local deli to slice some white American cheese (thick). Maybe I will make it with whiz next time!

Ingredients

~1 lb thinly sliced ribeye
0.25 of a large white onion
3.5 slices of thick white American cheese
