I love hot dogs and I love jalapenos. When making jalapeno poppers one day I realized that this empty pepper is perfect to stuff a hot dog into. It’s not that I create these ideas just for fun, I legitimately believe that this is an awesome alternative to not only corn dogs, but also stuffed jalapeno poppers as well! Upon making it a few times I thought “cheese would be a good addition to this idea”, and I was right! In this recipe I stuff jalapenos with hot dogs and cheese and coat it in a very simple cornmeal batter. To go with the dogs, some Jalapeno salted chips and a super tangy and smoky dipping sauce! The key to making this the best version you can, is to pre cook the stuffed jalapenos on a frying pan. That way, after deep frying them, its nothing but deliciousness! 2
