Chicken Milanese Smash Tacos
Taco Tuesday and one of my favorite dishes. I love the simple, fresh flavors, so I turned it into a taco… Smash Chicken Milanese. The ground chicken is seasoned with lemon pepper, a hint of Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. The sauce is simple and so good. Sauté garlic in a pan over low heat, add butter to cool it down, then fresh lemon juice, a little honey, and let it reduce gently until slightly thickened. The panko crumbs are seasoned with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese. The arugula is dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Finished with heaps of Parmigiano Reggiano.
