Purple Sweet Potato Bread Pudding (pain Patate)
Pain Patate is a classic Haitian dessert—rich, spiced, boozy and deeply comforting. Traditionally made with Japanese yam, this version uses purple sweet potato, which brings the same earthy sweetness with a beautiful color and slightly creamier texture. Slowly cooked on the stovetop and finished in the oven.
